The SACRA FAMIGLIA bas-relief represents the classic Christian Catholic icon made according to the best traditions of Italian sculpture. With this work I wanted to challenge the masters of classical sculpture. I combined bas-relief and high relief to obtain a greater expressiveness of the work. Work painted with natural oxides in light colors, almost watered down, so as not to cover many details of bas-relief.
I believe that sacred objects belong to our lives, to the life of our families, and I remind us at all times that what we live in is a Christian home, that those who live there are baptized and live in god's love and share deep Christian values..
But there's more. The house where crucifixes, icons, sacred paintings or statues of our Lady are displayed will be protected from evil and will keep those who live there as a fortress.
