The bas-relief Madonna della roccia
represents the classic Catholic Christian icon made in the best tradition of Italian sculpture. With this work I wanted to challenge the masters of classical sculpture. I combined bas-relief and high-relief to obtain a greater expressiveness of the work. Work painted with natural oxides in light colors, almost watercolor, in order not to cover many bas-relief details.
This work of art is a great timeless classic. Collectors appreciate the very high quality of the bas-relief, the impeccable composition and the skill in the execution of the work.
